I was tasked with designing and implementing the 'Tip Me' feature within the app, focusing on creating an engaging, user-friendly tipping experience for content creators and their audiences. I designed screens for selecting tip categories, adding funds, and sending personalized messages, all set within a dark-themed interface with playful visual accents. Additionally, I created sets of illustrations for the 'gifts' feature, including cosmic cats, flowers, foods, and featured options. These illustrations were carefully crafted to enhance the visual appeal of the tipping process and align with the app’s overall aesthetic. By incorporating these gamified elements and interactive messaging, I helped enhance the overall user experience, delivering an enjoyable and intuitive feature for both users and creators alike.

Overview
How might we enhance user engagement, encourage more personalized interactions, and create a more immersive tipping experience that aligns with the app’s dynamic and gamified nature?
1. Started research by conducting a heuristic evaluation of the current tipping design, analyzing the user flow for sending tips and interacting with influencers.
2. Conducted a competitor analysis by evaluating 10 similar apps to identify effective design patterns and interactive features.
3.Validated assumptions by conducting user testing with 6 respondents to assess the new tipping flow, focusing on user engagement, personalization, and the effectiveness of the gamified elements.

Results
Testing of the updated design showed that users were able to browse and select gifts 55% faster with the new grid and list view options. Additionally, user engagement increased as participants interacted with the holiday-themed gifts and personalized messaging features. These improvements are expected to enhance overall user retention, increase tipping interactions, and contribute to higher user satisfaction rates.
